A quick overview of how we work, what we do (and don’t do), and what to expect on the day of your appointment.

What types of jobs do you take?

We focus on small to mid-size projects: repairs, punch lists, and small upgrades. Typical examples are fixing doors and trim, patching drywall, swapping light fixtures or faucets, mounting TVs, and other tasks that are too small for a remodeler but too involved for DIY.

Do you have a minimum charge?

Yes. To cover setup, drive time, and cleanup, we usually book work in half-day or full-day blocks or with a reasonable minimum visit charge. If your list is small, we’ll try to group items together to get you the most value in that minimum.

How does your 30-day workmanship guarantee work?

If something we repaired or installed fails because of our workmanship within 30 days, we’ll come back and correct it at no labor cost. It covers the tasks we performed — new issues, material defects, or damage after the fact are not included.

Can I provide my own materials?

Yes, you can. We just ask that you share brand, model, and quantities in advance so we can confirm everything is compatible and ready when we arrive. If you prefer, we can also source materials for you and include them on the estimate.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, HomeFixx carries appropriate insurance for the work we perform. For larger scope projects that require permits or a separate trade license, we’ll let you know up front and can refer you if needed.

What should I do before my appointment?

Try to clear the immediate work area of fragile items, pets, and anything that blocks access. If we’re working in multiple rooms, grouping your list and labeling areas (for example, “bedroom 1,” “hall bath”) helps keep things efficient.

How do I pay?

Payment is typically due at the end of the visit unless otherwise noted on your estimate. We’ll provide clear invoicing and can support common payment methods for your convenience.

What if I need to reschedule?

Life happens. If you need to move your appointment, let us know as early as you can. We’ll work with you to find the next available window and keep your project moving.
